BOISE--It's way too early to say the Idaho Steelheads are struggling at home, but with only 3 losses on the year, the fact that two are in Qwest Arena raises some eyebrows.
Wes Goldie scores twice in the first period to pace the Salmon Kings to a 5-3 win. Reggie Beauchamin back in net for Idaho stopped 24 of 29 shots, coming away with his first loss on the year.
Idaho raised Cody Lampl got his first points as a professional with a pair of assists for the Steelheads.
The same two teams will meet Friday in Qwest Arena.
