In 4A, Baker and Ontario each advaced to the 4A football semifinals. Baker hosted Astoria, winning 21-14. They face Phoenix High on Saturday.

Ontario faces top-ranked Marist High in the semis after beating Sutherlin 36-16 on a field that was as much mud as it was grass.

According to Ontario's activities director, the semi-final game will either be at Summit High in Bend, Oregon or at Willamette University in Salem.

In 3A, Vale High lost by a point in overtime to Rainier High in a game played in Bend, Oregon. Rainier ran in a 2-point conversion to win 36-35.
