Mayor's office brings sports teams together
BOISE-Boise's top sports brass met with Mayor Dave Bieter on Thursday to share ideas with the city and each other.

Representatives from the Broncos, Steelheads, Stampede and Hawks joined organizers of Bam Jam and the Humanitarian Bowl in a round table discussion about the sports scene in Boise and how the organizations can work together.

"We thought it was time to bring sports oriented industry around the table and talk about what you see in their businesses," explained Boise Mayor Dave Bieter.

The group gave brief capsules on what their organizations are doing and what the city may be able to help with. As well as interact with each other and gain insight and advice from peers looking at similar situations.

"If we can get better from hearing their ideas," said Bam Jam organizer Vince Hordeman, "then it's certainly worth being a part of a great group like this."
