WASHINGTON, D.C. - The NFL's Washington Redskins announced Tuesday that the October 2010 matchup between Boise State and Virginia Tech at the Redskins' FedEx Field has been moved to September 6, 2010.

The move was made to appease ESPN, which will broadcast the game on national television. Boise State announced in a press release that game time would be 8 p.m. eastern, which is 6 p.m. in Boise.

Boise States game with the University of Toledo, originally set for September 11 at Bronco Stadium, will move to October 9.

Boise State's other two non-conference games for 2010 are still currently set for September 18 at Wyoming and September 25 against Oregon State. The remaining 2010 schedule will be released at a later date.

Washington D.C.'s FedEx Field will also host Penn State vs. Indiana football in 2010, Army vs. Navy in 2011 and Virginia Tech vs. Cincinnati in 2012.
