BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Two Boise State Broncos in Hawaii were suspended from practicing Friday, the university says, and now one of them is being sent home.

Boise State says senior quarterback Joe Southwick will be sent home for violating team rules.

Quarterback Nick Patti has been reinstated as of Friday night.

The school has not provided details of how they say the athletes violated team rules.

The Broncos play Oregon State in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl on Tuesday.
