LAS VEGAS, Nev., (KBOI) -- New Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin hasn't even been on the sidelines for an official game but is still making an impact for the Broncos.

On the second and final day of Mountain West Media Days, coach Harsin talked about everything ranging from the move to Boise to disciplinary policies.

"I understand Bronco Nation and I understand how fantastic they've been year after year," Harsin said. "(For) new coaches and even our players, that's exciting for them -- to see how the community has embraced them and how excited they are about this season."

Harsin says he understands what's been accomplished under former head coach Chris Petersen's watch.

"Being in the program for 10 years prior and being with Chris as the head coach for five, those expectations, I happen to be part of that when those were developed and where we are today so I understand them."

Harsin says not only that he hopes Bronco fans support them at their home games, but that they also need the support for this year's schedule.

The main draws coming to the blue turf this year include last year's divisional champs, Fresno State and Utah State.

Harsin and the Broncos take on Ole Miss in Atlanta, Georgia on Aug. 28.
