Broncos have big shoes to fill, and lots of them

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The 2012 Broncos return the fewest number of starters in all of of college football.

Looking at the numbers and names of the players that graduated from lasty year's squad you start to realize the Broncos could have their work cut out for them.

But this isn't Boise State's first rodeo. Bronco Nation has been through this before. There's always at big name to replace, and there's always the next guy in line who will eventually become that name to replace.

It's the circle of college football, but I'm starting to feel very Lion King at the moment, so Coach Pete it's your turn.

"But that's just, that's just the beauty of college football, in a way. In a weird way. You know, the goal is to graduate the kids, as much as we don't like that sometimes. We'd like to have a few of those guys not have graduated yet, but that is the goal. But we're excited about some of the young talent that we do have, and those guys to get their chance to carry on the legacy of some things that have been established here in the past," said Boise State head football coach Chris Petersen.

The new batch of Broncos hit the field for their first fall practice on Saturday, Everybody's Favorite Weekend Sports Guy Troy Oppie will have complete coverage.
