Boise State sophomore guard Igor Hadziomerovic sits out Saturday's game against the UNLV Runnin' Rebels at Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Idaho.
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - After dropping four of five games in late January, the Bronco men's basketball team finally bounced back over the weekend and picked up a big win against UNLV.

Much of that success was due to an almost-complete roster, although the injury bug continues to bite the Broncos ... at least a bit.

Head coach Leon Rice retold his pre-game exchange with play-by-play guy Bob Behler about the health of his squad before Saturday night's victory over the Runnin' Rebels.

"I joked with Bob at shoot around and he said, 'Hey you're gonna have a full roster.' and I said we'll see at game time, and sure enough Iggy's foot flares up and so we lost him. So we're investigating that and looking into it and seeing when we can get Iggy back," remembers Rice.

With or without Igor Hadziomerovic, the Broncos head to San Diego State Wednesday night to take on the Aztecs at Viejas Arena. Tip time is 9 pm (MTN) and you can watch the game live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet (DIRECTV channel 691).
