Boise State sophomore safety Jeremy Ioane returns an interception for touchdown in the Broncos' loss to Michigan State in East Lansing, Michigan.
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The Boise State Broncos have left the Mainland, looking forward to a Saturday showdown against Hawai'i. It will be a homecoming for Honolulu native Jeremy Ioane who decided to leave the island for Idaho. Teammates remember the transition being difficult for Ionae, at least at first.

"He was a little quiet when he first got up here, but he fit in. I was always wondering why he came. You know he left Hawai'i to come out to Boise (laughing) try to figure that out, but no. He came, was a little shy, but he's all over the place, friends with everybody. He's loving it out here," joked senior defensive tackle Darren Koontz.

The Broncos play pigskin in paradise on Saturday. Kickoff at Aloha Stadium is 5 pm (MTN). If you can't make the trip, why not try out the next best thing?

Track down all the poi and Spam you can find, and hold your own personal luau while you watch the game on the NBC Sports Network. You could also just order a Hawaiian pizza, but the first one seems more creative.
