BOISE, Idaho - J.C. Percy, a linebacker on the Boise State football team, has been named to the 2012 CoSIDA Academic All-District team.

A senior from Blackfoot, Idaho, Percy has a 3.67 cumulative grade-point-average in Finance. Three times Percy has also earned academic all-league honors. As a freshman and sophomore in 2009 and 2010 he was named to the Western Athletic Conference academic teams, and last year as a junior he received academic honors from the Mountain West Conference.

Percy leads the Broncos in tackles this year with 80, including a team high 47 unassisted. He has also made 3.5 tackles for loss, one quarterback sack and broken up one pass.

Percy's name will now be forwarded to the national ballot for academic All-America honors.
