Broncos flip Blakley from UW to BSU
(KBOI) - Bronco Nation knows their favorite football team has been in a recruiting tug-of-war against the University of Washington with Coach Pete and the Huskies winning most of those battles.

That trend reversed when Chase Blakley flipped from Washington to Boise State. The Coeur d'Alene tight end took to Twitter Tuesday night announcing his commitment to the Boise State Broncos.

Blakley's considered by most recruiting sites to be a three-star athlete, but Rivals.com gives him that all-important fourth star. All of those sites list the former Coeur d'Alene Viking as a top-15 tight end, and a great get for BSU.

His addition proves Boise State's new coaching staff can keep an Idaho kid in the Gem State while going head-to-head with Coach Pete at the same time.

Blakley is the second Pac-12 steal for the Broncos, and if we use the Rivals.com ranking he's the second four-star recruit for Bryan Harsin's first recruiting class.
