Broncos hope to buck their bad luck
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Suspensions, injuries, and then illness all to make Boise State a triple threat ... sorta. The latest hiccup, led to some players wearing surgical masks to avoid spreading their illness to other teammates.

The Broncos are ready to bounce back from all of that. In fact, head coach Leon Rice even allowed himself to be optimistic about the possibility of having a full roster Saturday night against UNLV. That includes, Jeff Elorriaga who's finally been cleared to play after multiple concussions.

That being said, the Broncos are still taking precautions, especially when it comes to their hygiene.

"We try not to shake hands with everybody, make sure eveybody's sanitized, wash our hands all the time and try not to be the next one to get sick," said senior center Kenny Buckner.

"I'm declaring this the first day of being out of our bad luck. The sun came out in Boise again. We did have to weather a bit of a storm. We didn't have our complete roster in any one of our first six league games, so hopefully we can get closer to that and get back to that and I think that will really help us," added Coach Rice.

I'm no genius, but I think Coach Rice is on to something with this having his entire team back.

The Broncos host the Runnin' Rebels Saturday night at Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Idaho. Tip time is 7 pm (MTN) on the Time Warner Cable SportsNet (DirecTV Channel 691).
