Boise State, Utah State announce football series
Boise State and Utah State announced a two-game home-and-home football series on Friday, to begin in the 2014 season.

"This adds another quality opponent to a stretch where we will be playing the most difficult schedules in Bronco football history," Bronco football coach Chris Petersen said in a press release.

The Aggies scheduled BSU in 2014 as a replacement for the Utah game, as the Utes opted out of the final game in a four-year contract with Utah St.

"It is a wonderful chance for our fans to see us play on the road but don't have to travel very far, plus as we saw when we were there for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, we have a terrific Aggie fan base in the Boise area," Utah State football coach Gary Andersen said.

Utah State will host the first game in Logan, Utah on Sept. 27, 2014 and the matchup will be played in Boise Sept. 26, 2015. The games extend a series which has been played 17 times since 1975.

Boise State has won the last ten straight matchups with the Aggies.
