It seems every year, Boise State head coach Chris Petersen is on the short list of potential candidates at universities across the country.
The 2013 season is no exception.
After already being mentioned for the head coaching job at USC, the focus now is on Petersen and the University of Washington.
The USC position was filled by Washington coach Steve Sarkisian. Now, with the job open, people are pointing to Coach Pete as the man for the job.
According to ESPN, Petersen was set to meet with the school on Friday. But later, various Twitter reports, including Bruce Feldman at CBSSports, posted that the two sides were meeting Thursday evening.
Petersen isn't expected to speak to the media until after Boise State's bowl destination is announced.
