Yotes end Crusaders seven-game winning streak
CALDWELL, Idaho – Taylor Pruett had a big four-point play, part of a 13-0 second half run, as The College of Idaho ended a seven-game losing streak to Northwest Nazarene, defeating the Canyon County rival Crusaders, 93-83, in the United Heritage Insurance Mayors’ Cup contest before a sellout crowd in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The Yotes (3-2), who never trailed in the game, led 62-61 with 11:56 left, but C of I got five offensive rebounds in the five minute spurt, getting lay-ups from Josh Wilson and Sydney Donaldson, the four-point play from Pruett and five free throws to lead 75-61 with 7:39 to go.

Demetrius Perkins led the Yotes with a career-high 23 points, with Pruett scoring 21 in the victory.

NNU, who played the game as an exhibition, was led by 22 points from Kevin Rima.
