BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Last year, Ryan Watkins was preparing for his senior year at Boise State.

This year, he's a freshman again, learning a new team and system.

Forward Ryan Watkins retweeted an article from Aris Leeuwarden, announcing that Watkins will be joining the team. The squad is a part of the Dutch Basketball League, the highest professional league in the Netherlands.

Watkins averaged 11.9 points and 10.6 rebounds a game last season. He started all 34 games for Boise State, which went 21-13. Watkins was named second-team All-Mountain West.
