Brent McMahon wins the 2014 Boise Ironman 70.3 with a time of 3:57:33.

Last year was Brent McMahon's first time competing in the Boise Ironman 70.3. He finished in second place.

This year was different.

McMahon won this year's race in 3:57:33. Trevor Wurtele finished just 14 seconds behind.

Kevin Everett was the top local finisher. The Boise resident finished ninth with a time of 4:13:12.

Olympian Apolo Ohno competed in his first half Ironman as he prepares for the full course in Hawaii. Ohno crossed the finish line at 4:59:27.

Melanie McQuaid won the women's division at 4:24:07. She was the 20th finisher overall. The Canadian won by nearly five minutes over the next female finisher.
