BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - With all the talk about Boise State's quarterback competition it's easy to forget the Broncos need to replace 11 other athletes who made at least ten starts last season. Many of them are on the defensive side of the ball where senior Jamar Taylor returns as one of the few experienced veterans.

He's excited to be a leader for this young defensive secondary, and to put the chip on his shoulder to work.

"I don't get it; gave up 2 touchdown passes in two years and I haven't been named all-conference. So definitely that, and really just asking my game to another level - whether that's making more turnovers; getting the ball back for our offense or making more tackles; I just always want to be by the ball," said Taylor.

The defense will be on display this Saturday for the annual Blue and Orange Spring Game. All the fun starts at 5pm.
