FRUITLAND, Idaho (KBOI) - Fruitland high school's Joey Martarano has verbally committed to play football for Boise State in 2013, but baseball isn't going to give up on him that easily.

Martarano still fields phone calls from scouts, and recently got an invite to play in the Under Armour All-American baseball game. He's just the second Idaho player to earn the honor, Clayton Porter of Idaho Falls got the call in 2008. Porter currently plays college baseball for the Oregon Ducks.

The game goes down at Wrigley Field in Chicago on August 18. You can watch the game on MLB Network at 10:30 in the morning.
