Lions cut Titus Young

The Detroit Lions have released wide receiver Titus Young.
The team made the announcement Monday. It wasn't much of a surprise.
"If y'all going to cut me let me go," Young posted on his Twitter account last month. "I'm tired of the threats."
An email seeking comment was sent to Young on Monday. Young was banished from the team in November for what Jim Schwarz called unacceptable behavior and was later put on injured reserve. Young was also told to stay away from the team during its last offseason for punching teammate Louis Delmas when the safety wasn't looking.
Detroit drafted Young out of Boise State in 2011 and he had 48 receptions for 607 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie. His production dropped off last season.

Players like him never last, just too cocky
I would be surprised only because there is a new crop of talent every year.
He got picked up by the Rams.
Maybe he will get another chance if he grows up and acts like an NFL player!
Funny how all the bsu fans loved him and wouldn't shut up about how great he was when he was when playing for boise state.....
no, he does have what it takes nor the attitude, he is not all that....
Someone will try, because he is a great talent. Just hope he doesn't build himself a rep like Moss, TO and Ochocinco. He ain't that good!
No...Agree with Jason Yost.
No team would want him. He has such a bad attitude. After what he did no one would want him.
apparently some kid at BSU in the engineering department committed suicide and today was the memorial service. Why does BSU not have any prorgam in place to prevent students from being a danger to themselves or others?
Ask T.O. how many teams want you if you get a little too big for your britches, I doubt he will work in the NFL again and if he does it won't be until he gets a huge dose of reality and humility.
Hopefully this was a serious wake-up call and he changes his ways.
He always was a Thug. Coach Pete was at least able to get something out of him.
It was bound to happen...since he went to a thug team, he's a thug now. Wasted talent...
You can take the brother out of the hood but you can't take the hood out of the brother. NFL stands for National Felons League.
titus young says "hello clarice"
oh this is so not important !!! who really cares , besides him and his family...
Not likely... To many issues
Yes another team is going pick him up
he probably blew it...he'll be lucky to get another chance
There is already enough players that are a whole hell of a lot better than him. & they are looking for a team. No he won't get picked up.
:-( Hopefully He will wake up before opportunity quits knocking at his door!
That's what he gets.
hes probably out
Not sure he deserves another chance. How many should one get? Pull your head out Titus & use your God given talent for good.
he is a dirt bag thug let him live on the streets for a few years..
I think so.
His chances seem slim, so sad when you think of all the guys who would do almost anything for an NFL contract.
no
no
Not unless he changes his attitude, no team will want him!
Yes too much talent(Speed).
Such promise, all wasted.
I see the Jets, he will blend in well with all the other misfits they have on that team
There are a couple of Coach Pete type coaches out there that could get his head back on straight. I could see Philly, Cincy, NY Jets, or Jax taking a chance if the price was right.
I doubt many teams would be thrilled to get the troublemaker but some team may pick him up out of desperation in which he will probably throw that opportunity in the toilet also.
The Raiders like troubled players.
No
I see him in the CFL,what NFL team is wanting to take a risk on Him?He needs to change his Attitude
I wouldn't pick him up, he seems to be a jerk.
Unfortunately, yes. He was a bonehead at BSU and didn't learn his lesson. This kid needs to be sent home and driving a trash truck in the next couple of years. Life's lessons.
