BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - It all comes down to Saturday. Win, and Boise State earns their first Mountain West Conference Championship ... or at least a share of it. Lose, and Bronco Nation watches their favorite team come and go in the Mountain West without taking home the title ... not even once.

A little odd for a football team that said farewell to the WAC with three-straight titles (eight during their final ten seasons in the conference).

Maybe it's increased competition, new surroundings, or just bad luck, but Bronco Nation wants a win in Reno and the conference championship that comes with it.

"Well, if I had my preference, I wish it was wrapped up and it didn't come down to this, but it's not that easy. But I think it's good for the programs, I think it's good for college football, and I think it'll be a hard-fought game," said head coach Chris Petersen.

"You know, this has ... in recent years been a big game for both schools. Both schools have won games, and we're preparing hard for these guys," said junior quarterback Joe Southwick.

We'll find out if that preparation is enough Saturday afternoon when Boise State and Nevada kickoff in Reno at 1:30 pm (MTN). You can watch the regional broadcast on ABC.
