Former Rocky Mountain high student wins ski slopestyle World Cup
Meridian native Alexi Micinski captured her first career ski title on Saturday in Spain, winning the ski slopestyle world cup on borrowed skis.

According to Sam Sandmeir, Micinski's luggage was lost in transit and the former Rocky Mountain High School student borrowed skis for the event.

Micinski now lives and trains in Park City, Utah. She's a rookie at USSA TEAM Academy and will head for the World Junior Championships in Italy this week.

Ski slopestyle will be a new event at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
