Kellen Moore & Titus Young reunited in Detroit training camp
Kellen Moore (#17) watches college teammate Titus Young (#16) go through drills at Detroit Lions training camp.
Past teammates are again current teammates; former Broncos Titus Young and Kellen Moore are connecting again as Detroit Lions.

Published reports - mostly beat reports, blogs and media reaction on twitter - have described Moore's arm strength and ball flight as an ongoing problem compared to the rest of the group.

Moore is getting repetitions with the first team, and reportedly, more reps than his third-string competitor R.J. Archer - but the former Arena Football signal caller throws a better ball than Moore.

Ironically wearing a Boise State shirt in the Lions training camp locker room, Moore still constantly gets questions about his Alma Mater.

"Top-notch coaching, play in some big games and get to see those guys progress," he said in typical Kellen Moore fashion.

"You've got Titus (Young) here, and that's a lot of fun." Moore said.

Young and Moore combined for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns in 2010 at Boise State, and Young said what his former starting quarterback brings to the table is consistency.

"Just working for a regular job, no one's going to hire a guy who's not going to be consistent," Young said. "I feel like I have been able to trust Kellen since the day I met him - every single time I see him step on the field he's going to do the same thing every single time."

As if we didn't already know.

The Lions first preseason game is August 10 against the Cleveland Browns, and former Boise State defensive end Billy Winn.
