Mavs win state lacrosse title, coach's 100th victory
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - For the first time in school history, Mountain View is the Idaho State Lacrosse Champion. The Mavericks used a lot of offense, and 13 saves from goaltender Lee Shaw to earn 16-7 victory over Lake City.

Junior attacker Troy Vance led the team with five goals, and added one assist. Vance's teammate Nick Guzzetti wasn't far off his pace. Guzzetti tallied four goals and a pair of helpers.

The victory was also a milestone for head coach Alian Rodrigue who said, "I earned my 100th career win as a head coach with the boys winning the state title, today. Very timely and very proud of those guys."
