Prep Football Quarterfinals schedule

Fruitland, Payette and New Plymouth advanced in Saturday play-in games, and the quarterfinal field for all six state prep football classifications is now set for this week.

Saturday, New Plymouth beat St. Maries 39-13. The Pilgrims led 20-6 at halftime and advance to face West Side High at Holt Arena in Pocatello Thursday at 8 p.m.

Timberlake shut out Parma 21-0 in the Kibbie Dome Saturday, and the Tigers will host Weiser Saturday at 1 p.m. PST.

Fruitland beat Kellogg 70-12 and return home for a quarterfinal game Friday against Payette, which game from behind to beat Priest River Saturday, 54-32.

That game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Fruitland, but the location could change based on the condition of the Ben Kerfoot Athletic Complex field after it hosted the 3A Snake River Valley kansas-city playoff last Monday.
