CALDWELL, Idaho – An 18-3 run early in the second half helped The College of Idaho to their eighth-straight win, as the No. 8 ranked Coyotes stopped Eastern Oregon, 67-54, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

Demetrius Perkins had a pair of baskets in the run for the Coyotes (21-5, 12-2 CCC), with Josh Wilson adding a three-point play, and Ben Van Lith splashing a three-pointer, as the Yotes held EOU to one made field goal over the first 10 minutes of the period, pushing their lead to 55-31.

C of I improved to 12-0 at home this season with the win.

Antonio Garrett had 15 points and seven rebounds – including back-to-back three-pointers late in the first half as the Yotes built a 35-26 halftime lead.

Joe Vaz and Perkins each had 10 points in the victory for the Yotes. Tony Eackles Jr. had 12 of his team-high 13 points in the first half for the Mountaineers (14-10, 5-9).
