Andrew Caroll pushed a puck across the goal line one minute into overtime, lifting the Idaho Steelheads to a 6-5 victory over Gwinnett Sunday afternoon in Georgia.

The win earned Idaho four of a possible six points on a rare three-game east coast road trip. It was the Steelheads' first overtime victory of the season.

Carroll's goal ended a wild, back-and-forth game, highlighted by three straight Gwinnett goals in the second period which put the Gladiators ahead 4-3.

After jumping back in front 5-4 in the third period, Idaho was unable to hold its lead, as Gwinnett tied the game with just over 12 minutes to go in regulation.

Idaho goaltender Tyler Beskorowany earned the win, stopping 30 of 35 shots.

Before the game, Idaho announced two roster additions: defenseman Jace Coyle was reassigned by the Texas Stars of the AHL, and defenseman Ken Trentowski was added to the roster. To make room for Trentowski, D/F Taylor Vichorek was released.
