Both the Boise State men and women's basketball teams were on the road Saturday, but only one pulled off a road victory.
Tasha Harris and Jessica Van Hoogen combined for 44 points to lead the lady Broncos over Idaho State 76-60 in Pocatello. The game was closer than the score would indicate; BSU used a 21-10 run to close the final four minutes of the game.
The win improves BSU to 4-0 this season. It is the seventh-straight over Idaho State.
The Bronco men were not as fortunate, shooting an ice-cold 35.7 percent from the field in a 87-61 loss at Wyoming.
La'Shard Anderson led BSU with 19 points, but received very little help. The four other starters combined for 14 total points.
Reggie Arnold chipped in 14 points, Ike Okoye had eight.
The Cowboys broke open a close game early in the first half with a 14-four run and never looked back, leading by as many as 27.
Boise State was outscored in the paint 56-28, and allowed 31 points off turnovers.
The Bronco men travel to Eastern Washington on the day before Thanksgiving, and host the first regular-season game of the year in Taco Bell Arena on Saturday Nov. 28.
