BOISE--The Capital football team was expecting a game from the always tough Highland Rams, but in the end it worked out like always for the Eagles.
Highland had drives stall to start the game and the second half thanks to interceptions by Boise State commit Kyle Sosnowski. The black helmets of the Capital defense kept the Highland offense in check all night.
Meantime Todd Simis' offense churned up yards on the ground powering Capital to a 38-3 win and the state title game. The Eagles opponent will be decided Friday night when Eagle travels to play Coeur d'Alene in the other semifinal.
