Merdian wins first game of 2013 without a single offensive point
Boise, Idaho (KBOI) - Defense led the way at Dona Larsen Park Thursday night, with the winless Meridian Warriors picking up their first win of the 2013 season without scoring a single offensive point, 14-0.

Meridian senior Bryson Stout returned the second half kickoff to start the scoring, and the Warrior defense added another score to give Meridian a two touchdown lead just minutes into the third quarter. Caleb Frost led the Meridian defense by intercepting a trio of Michael Stefanic passes.

Meridian moves on to play Vallivue next Friday on Senior Night, while the Timberline Wolves get Boise the next time out.
