Rocky boys, Eagle girls win state track & field championship
The Rocky Mountain High School boys track & field team won it's third straight 5A state track & field championship on Saturday, winning seven events including all the relays.

Rocky Mountain scored 156 total points, Centennial finished second with 92, Eagle third at 68.

Allison Jeffries accounted for 36 of the Eagle girls' 102 total points, with wins in pole vault, 100m hurdles and the 4x100 relay.

She scratched three times at what would have been a new state record vault of 12 feet, eight inches.

Mountain View finished second, with 93 points.

No other local schools won team track and field state championships this year.
