Borah beat Rocky Mountain 27-17 Friday night, clinching the top seed in the 5A SIC. The Lions will host Highland in the first round of the 5A State Tournament.

Eagle finished second and will host Lake City. Capital is the third seed and travels to Madison. That game has been tentatively scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in Pocatello's Holt Arena.

Its loss pushed Rocky Mountain to the fourth and final seed at state. The Grizzlies will travel to Coeur D'Alene to face the defending state champion Vikings.

Game time information is still trickling out as of press time.

4A:

Top district III seed Middleton was idle on the final Friday of the regular season, but still doesn't know it's first-round opponent.

That's because Twin Falls beat Minico 21-14 Friday. Combined with Jerome's win over Burley, it forces a three-way tie for first place and Twin Falls, Minico and Burley will meet Monday in a Kansas-City playoff to decide which two teams advance to the 4A state tournament.

The winner of that playoff will host Skyview, which beat Columbia 32-20 in its regular season finale.

The second-place team in Monday's playoff will come to Middleton for a first-round matchup Friday or Saturday.

Bishop Kelly, which beat Nampa 70-7 Friday night, travels to Blackfoot in the first round of the state tournament. That game is Friday November 2 at 7 p.m.

3A:

Weiser took advantage of two early fumbles to lead Kimberly 14-0 at the half before rolling to a 42-0 win at home.

Saturday, the three other 3A Snake River Valley Conference teams play first round games at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow.

at 3:30 MST, Parma faces Timberlake. Next week, Weiser will face the winner of that game; the Wolverines would travel to Timberlake or host Parma.

At 6 p.m. MST, undefeated Fruitland plays Kellogg.

At 8:30 p.m. MST, Priest River faces Payette.

2A:

Wendell ended McCall-Donnelly's season with a 35-14 defeat of the Vandals on Friday. Wendell travels to face Firth next week.

Marsing beat Orofino 27-16 and advances to host Salmon in next week's quarterfinal round.

Grangeville beat Nampa Christian 42-6 Friday, ending the Trojan's season. Grangeville moves on to face Declo.

Saturday, New Plymouth hosts St. Maries at 1 p.m. The winner of that game faces West Side in the quarterfinals.

1ADI:

Butte County beats the Notus Pirates 52-6 in a game which was called at the half. Butte County moves on to face Raft River in the state quarterfinals.

Defending champion Hagerman ended Greenleaf's season with a 54-8 defeat. Hagerman hosts the winner of Friday night's Rimrock-Challis game.

1ADII:

Salmon River clinched the top playoff seed in district III with a 54-6 victory over winless Tri-Valley Friday. Salmon River faces the top seed out of District II in Northern Idaho which is likely Deary.

Garden Valley rebounded from last week's loss to Salmon River with a playoff-clinching 28-14 win over Horseshoe Bend. the Wolverines will have to travel north to face Kootenai in the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs.

Eastern Oregon Schools:

Ontario answered a late touchdown from McLoughlin to win in dramatic fashion on homecoming and senior night, 35-27.

**this corrects the result given on-air Friday night which was a McLoughlin victory. Apologies for the incorrect report.**

Ontario now will host a playoff game next Friday at Tiger Stadium, while McLoughlin's season is over.

Vale defeated Burns 21-14. The Vikings improved its playoff chances with the win, and Burns fell to the cusp of being left out. Both teams have one week remaining in the regular season of 3A Oregon football.
