DENVER - The Denver Post is reporting Broncos defensive coordinator Mike Nolan has resigned his position.
"I can't say anything other than Josh [head coach McDaniels] and I mutually agreed to part ways," Nolan told the Post.
The Broncos allowed just 16 points in the team's first three games, on the way to a surprising 6-0 start. But the team imploded through the second half of the season, dropping the final four games, and allowing an average of over 30 points per game in those final four losses.
