Utah Jazz sign former Stampeder for remainder of season
SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Jazz have signed former Idaho Stampede player Sundiata Gaines for the remainder of the NBA season, Jazz general manager Kevin O’Connor announced Monday.

Gaines had previously been signed to two consecutive ten-day contracts and received nation-wide notoriety for a game-winning shot at the buzzer during his first ten-day contract with the Jazz.

Gaines has appeared in seven total games for the Jazz, averaging 2.9 points and 1.1 assists in 7.1 minutes per game. Utah is 6-2 since Gaines joined the team.
