BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - D.J. Harper joins the growing list of former Boise State Broncos on NFL rosters. Last year's leading rusher signed with Mike Murad's favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers.

Harper rushed for more than 1100 yards and 15 touchdowns during his final season at Boise State, and even showed off his speed at the NFL combine.

Some NFL teams were concerned about his injury history, but the Niners took a chance on his upside as an undrafted free agent.

Jerrel Gavins is the only other Boise State player to sign with an NFL team following the draft; he's headed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Although we're told there is interest in Mike Atkinson, he's still recovering from an ACL tear that cost him much of his senior season.
