Former Bronco Bauscher headed back to Europe
Former Boise State basketball standout Matt Bauscher is headed back to Europe for a sixth professional basketball season. He told KBOI-TV he has signed with Petrolina AEK of the Cyprus Basketball Federation.

Petrolina, based in the town of Larnaca on the Mediterranean Sea, won the Cyprus Division I League Championship in 2013.

The season begins in September, and Bauscher said he will continue to keep up his budding realty business in the Treasure Valley in addition to basketball.

Bauscher was the Dutch player of the year in 2010, and has played for teams in Holland and Germany during his career. He is the second former Bronco to sign with a European team in a week; Coby Karl signed with Italian team Pallecanestro Reggiana July 30.
