Former Bronco Tyrone Crawford carted off field at Cowboys training camp
Former Boise State defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford was seriously injured during a non-contact drill on the first day of Dallas Cowboys training camp Sunday.

According to the Dallas Star-Telegram, Crawford fell to the ground and grabbed his ankle, telling trainers, 'achilles.'

The Cowboys and Dolphins were the first NFL teams to begin training camp, with players reporting Saturday, July 20. Dallas is holding its camp in Oxnard, California.

UPDATE: Cowboys executive Stephen Jones confirmed to media, including cbssports.com, that Crawford will miss the 2013 football season with a torn achilles.

The second-year player appeared in all 16 games last season, recording 20 tackles in a back-up role.
