After the Thanksgiving snow I had the occasion to visit Caldwell and was amazed at the scene that unfolded as I crested the railroad bridge. Indian Creek had been transformed into a picturesque edifice with a foggy backdrop. It took me back to an earlier time in Rupert Idaho where, as a boy, I had breathed in the Christmas lights and season. I felt that familiar warmth once again prompting me to share that experience with my wife and children.
Caldwell Night has more than a rodeo.
