Fruitland Snow-globe

Snow again at the West-end of the Valley

Just when we finally got rid of all our snow--that fell clear back in Novermber, we are once again getting dumped on today. And that's while the rest of the Treasure Valley is getting no snow at all or just rain. It's amazing that we are lower in elevation here but it doesn't seem to matter because we have been stuck in our own little circulation of snow for most of the day. Fortunately the temperatures have been far enough above freezing that the snow is all melting on the highways here, but if it continues falling into the night that might change and the roads will become slippery. Up towards Baker City they are already getting that way.

Your picture is beautiful! It would make a nice Christmas card with the caption "from our house to yours". Nice! I live in Fruitland too.
