Rainbow at Shoshone Falls

Beautiful Day for Exploring Idaho

We took advantage of the two beautiful spring days to drive down to the Twin Falls area. A couple of the places we visited were Shoshone Falls and the I.B. Perrine Bridge that crosses the Snake River on Highway 93 in Twin Falls. We were fortunate to view the waterfall at just the right time of day to capture a beautiful rainbow created by all the mist generated by the massive amount of water flowing over the falls at this time of year. The mist actually made the waterfall appear less attractive, but the rainbow made up for that.
Nobody was base-jumping off the Perrine Bridge on this day, but this view, from the west side of the bridge, was still beautiful.
