Nashville Recording Artist Michelle Murray

Nashville's Michelle Murray

Nashville recording artist Michelle Murray is scheduled to appear in Boise ID on Monday, August 12. She will perform a Modern Country acoustic music set and hold a meet & greet with clients, staff, and fans at Access Vans of Idaho, 6893 Supply Way. The performance is free and the public is welcome.

Michelle Murray's appearance is part of the “My Finish Line” music & movie tour, sharing through her music the story of former IndyCar driver Sam Schmidt, paralyzed after a racing accident in 2000. He went on to create the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation, which works to find a cure for paralysis, and is co-owner of IndyCar team Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. Michelle became a spokesperson for the foundation after hearing Schmidt's story, and wrote a song about Schmidt titled "It Won't Be If, But When". She subsequently starred in the film, “My Finish Line”, an inspiring original documentary that tells Schmidt's story through Michelle’s music. A number of attendees will receive a free DVD of the film.

Michelle Murray’s “My Finish Line” movie & music tour has collected quite a bit of print, radio and television publicity across the country. Since the tour began in the spring, Michelle has appeared on Fox TV St. Louis MO and on GAC Country, was featured on KDLT TV News in Sioux Falls SD and WNDU TV in South Bend IN, interviewed on KIX Radio 101.1 Iowa, WBEE 92.5 Radio Rochester NY and covered by many local print and online publications.
