The Idaho Diamond Bandits Youth Softball 12U Red team is on their way to the Western Nationals tournament in Las Vegas in July. This year's team has played tournaments in Washington, Oregon and Idaho since April and have placed in the top 3 in all but 1 tournament. They are set to defend their 1st place title in this weekend's Boise Blast ISG tournament at Ann Morrison park. This 12U team practices year round, 3-4 times a week. In the cold of winter you can find them conditioning at the BSU indoor facility or at Parisi Speed School. In July, the team is headed to Las Vegas to compete in the Western Nationals tournament. The competition is from all over the west and is expected to be intense. The Idaho Diamond Bandits Youth Softball team is a non-profit organization. Coaches are purely volunteer and all expenses are covered through donations, sponsorships and team fees. In preparation for this tournament and to help off set some of the expenses, the Idaho Diamond Bandit Youth Softball 12 Red team is offering a clinic to girls ages 8-14. The clinic will be held Saturday July 19th from 10am-3pm at Heritage Middle School in Meridian. For registration information, go to http://www.eteamz.com/IdahoDiamondBanditsU12.
