Louisville Slugger Player of The Year

Sean McDonald of Boise, Idaho was named the state of Idaho Louisville Slugger 2008 player of the year in conjuction with Baseball America. Sean recently graduated from Boise High School and played for the Boise Braves Baseball team, the Braves went 28-2 for season and were the 5A State Champions. Sean was named Boise Highs most valuable player for the fourth year, was named the 5A SIC 2008 Player of the Year, was honored with the State of Idaho 2008 Gatorade Player of the Year and was most recently honored with the state of Idaho 2008 Louisville Slugger Player of the Year. Sean has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Northwest Nazarene University this fall. Sean has had a remarkable highschool baseball experience, he has played with young men that he has grown up with and has played baseball with since little league and will miss the comradrie and friedship that he will cherish throughout his lifetime. Sean looks forward to playing baseball at the college level.
