Communities Donating shoes for Haiti
The Treasure Valley is stepping up to help victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The manager at Franz Bakery started collecting shoes three days ago. So, far they have 500 pairs to send to Haiti. Jannett Odem says everyone from Boise to Nampa to Kuna has pitched in.

Two people are facing numerous charges after authorities found meth within reach of children.

Michelle McMillian, 33, and Jessica Morris, 19, were arrested Wednesday afternoon. Officers say they recovered more than two grams of meth, digital scales and packaging material.

BOISE - One person has been killed following a crash on the Boise Bench Monday night.

Authorities say it happened near Curtis and Franklin roads around 8 p.m. Monday night. Witnesses say the driver of a red Subaru was traveling north on Curtis when he drifted into oncoming traffic.

A Meridian man has been arrested after authorities say he damaged a motorcycle at a Boise Bench bar.

Boise Police say they responded to a bar on the 600 block of South Vista. Witnesses tell police the suspect, Scott Stephens, had been kicked out of the bar for arguing with other patrons.
