CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) _ Albertson College of Idaho has a new name and a lot of cash.

The private college in Caldwell is going back to its previous name, College of Idaho _ without the Albertson moniker.

And it just got a new donation from the Albertson Foundation, for $50 million, bringing gifts from the foundation started by the late supermarket magnate Joe Albertson to $72 million over the last three years.

The school says it's ditching the Albertson in its name because some people didn't like it and because others thought it was a sign the college was completely funded by the foundation.

By sharing a supermarket name, the school also took its share of ribbing. Jokes included, ''What's your degree in: Paper or plastic.''
