Boise man arrested for firing a gun in his neighborhood
BOISE, Idaho - About 10 Boise police officers responded to a report of shots fired around 2 Sunday afternoon. It happened in the area of E. Warm Springs Avenue and E. Barber Drive.

A neighbor who watched the drama unfold describes what she saw:
"At the time that he was running this direction with the rifle, there weren't as many cops. But then more showed up and it seemed like they were looking for him so he was hiding back in the gully or something," Allison Gillis said.

During the search a white pickup with armed officers in the back could be seen roving the property conducting a search.

According to investigators once in custody, the suspect, Steven L. Danielson, told police he was trying to scare off somebody who was trespassing on the property.

Nobody was hurt and there's not word whether of not a trespasser has been located.
