Canyon County Sheriff's Deputies warn of a Child Enticement incident

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho (Canyon County Sheriff's Office News Release) - On February 2nd, 2014 just before 5:00 p.m. the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible child enticement in the 9000 block of Cherry Lane.

The male suspect asked the two young children to get into his van and show him the way to the City of Middleton. They described the male as an older male approximately 40 to 50 years of age with gray long hair and a gray beard. He was wearing a circular style glasses and his lower teeth were described as not looking good. He was wearing a blue beanie cap and a black jacket.

The male suspect was driving an older style blue mini- van similar to a caravan with slight damage to the right front quarter panel area.
The suspect was last seen heading westbound from the 9000 block of Cherry Lane. The two young juvenile males were not harmed and are home safe with family.

The Sheriff’s Office would like parents to talk to their children about “Stranger Danger."
