MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (KBOI) - A dispute between a husband and wife ended with a gunshot early Sunday morning.
"There was kind of loud partying going on in the backyard and a lot of f-bombs were being thrown about and stuff," said Walter Bilenski, who lives next to the couple. "To me, it didn't sound like an argument. It sounded like people partying."
Police in Mountain Home said a .45 caliber firearm went off during an argument between the two.
A news release said Matthew Lindstrom, 29, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery.
It also said Lindstrom's wife was taken to a Boise hospital. Her name wasn't released, and an update on her condition wasn't available Sunday.
Bilenski said he didn't hear the gunshot but did hear shouting and loud music next door.
"I thought it was kind of uncommon because they were pretty down-to-earth, pretty quiet people," Bilenski said, "so it really came out of the blue."
