BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Nampa Police say they have arrested two men who entered a victim's apartment and struck him with a baseball bat.

NPD says they initially responded to a report of a noise disturbance at 4:15 a.m. in the 16500 block of Amtrust Street.

Officers say they found an 18-year-old man who told them two men wearing masks had come into his apartment and hit him with the bat.

Police say they identified Paul Williams, 27, of Kuna, and Douglas Williams, 22, of Orofino, as the assailants and arrested them.

They are both being charged with aggravated battery and burglary, both felonies.

Officials say they believe the attack is related to a theft that is also under investigation, and that it is not a random incident.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries.
