Alert: Tanker spill snarls traffic on Interstate-84

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Heading east into the Treasure Valley on Interstate-84.
Idaho State Police says a semi truck hauling fuel had a spill on the interstate between Cole and Orchard. No injuries have been reported.
ISP and Boise Police are on scene directing traffic.
Officials say the truck suffered some sort of mechanical failure, which caused the spill.

LOL
Darrell, my bad. I did not click on the link to see the story before I commented. Drive careful out there.
Still on the 10:pm news they just REPEATED the smashing.
Martin, understand that, I am CDL driver that has held a Hazmat Endorsement, though my thing if KBOI 2 is going to report a story get the FACTS straight don't mislead the story. That truck that they are reporting about is a semi truck with a van trailer, not a tanker truck.... How is someone suppose to believe what they are reporting is true if they can't get the facts straight. That is why the Police always wait to report the facts and not elaborate on an incident.
Any spill that is more than 25 gallons has to be reported to the DEQ. Then someone, usually the fire dept. has to clean it up, putting people out in traffic you have to be aware of.
Darrell, KBOI gets it wrong in over half their stories. These guys truly suck
KBOI 4:00 news should stop misleading the BREAKING NEWS story that it is a Tanker Spill. It is a semi-truck fuel tank leak....
Great. Now the price of fuel will go up.
That is not a tanker truck spill, it is a truck that has a fuel tank leak...there is a BIG difference between the two. The fuel tank carries diesel fuel and not gas.
Right over the wall from my house!!
